I have one doe and one buck that are young (not had their first babies yet). Yesterday when I went to feed the buck (who is not very tame) I noticed that he has something dark in his right ear. I tried to look at it, but he ran around the pen like a crazed thing and wouldn't let me touch it at all. Could this be ear mites? If so can I use ear mite medicine for dogs that you can get at WalMart in his ear?
    Thanks

    Yes, sounds like ear mites.

I would be hesitant to use anything labeled for dogs on a rabbit.
The level of insecticide might be a little strong. You can obtain the
same results with the use of mineral oil. You will need to treat for several
days and then weekly until you see no more evidence of mites.

Some folks use baby oil which is only mineral oil with perfume added.

Another choice would be something labeled specifically for pet rabbits
    or for kittens.

    Good luck.
