Had my heifers carried to the vet today to get their bangs vaccines, horns removed and palpated, turns out one of them is 2 months bred she is 11 months old. I insisted them be away from the bull until at least yearling age, what is the chance she will be able to calve? I am upset that I wont only lose the calf but the heifer. The vet said the bangs vac may cause her to slip the pregnancy. She is a black angus bred to a polled hereford bull.

When that happened with us two years or more ago hubby injected heifer deliberately with something to make her slip the calf. It was sad, but at least it saved us from a potential double loss, and she carried her next calf to term and delivered with no problem.

A shot of lutalyse would have took care of that problem.

Lutalyse is first thing I thought of, will it have an effect on future calvings

I'd give her the shot of Lutalyse. It won't affect her in the future.

Odd that the vet didn't tell you about the lute. Best if that pregnancy is terminated. Even if she can deliver the calf and raise it, probably her and the calf both will be stunted. It's just too much to ask to start their career at 18 months of age.
