The Stories guides are always good. Keep in mind modern written pig books will probably reflect modern styles of raising pigs, including the use of modern medicines and housing. If you get older books say printed in the early 1900's they will probably reflect more of a homestead environment as far as pastured pigs or pigs run in open areas as that is what was available then. Therefore depending on what you are wanting to do, some books may offer more information that pertains directly to your situation than others. However, there will be something to be learned from them all. I have some of these older books as was recommended by people here and various places. I wish I was home I could look up some of the titles for you. Maybe some here who I know have some of these older books will chime in and help out. If not pm me in about a month and I will be back home and can look up some of the titles for you.
