Bertha on her Barrel. This doe does this *every day* while waiting in the holding pen to be milked. If anyone else dares to *touch* her barrel....Look Out!!

Emily the doe in the bottom picture on the very far right corner of the photo...what would you call her coloring?

I have a LaMancha/Alpine cross doe who is that color and I have no clue what to call it  :help: .

I love the first picture though it is so neat looking!

I would call her a chocolate brown with cream trim and cream points.

Her face reminds me quite a bit of Sandy (the napping goat from the naptime thread). There's that same happy, satisfied goat look going on.

She sure looks like she really enjoys perching on her tuffet!

    Excellent photos. :)

Cool pics Emily! That first one would make a grand screensaver. Thanks for sharing.

I did it, put it in as a background, it is very cool! Love it, now I will be out trying to snap some nice pics of my goats. I am just not the photographer you are,Emily.

LamManchas always remind me of camels or Llamas or aliens....that's why I love them....they are just plain weird.

I gotta fess up. Those two were taken by one of my younger sisters. She was so pleased with the first one that she said I *had* to share it with you-all. I thought it was so cute, glad you guys liked it. Jessica will be pleased..... :)

Thanks for asking, Susie. I had intended to update you-all on DGP, but then it went down....Yes, Mom and Dad are back home now and are doing ok. Mom is very sore, bruised and banged up, but can get around the house with difficulty. Dad is better off than Mom but is sticking to light work for now. We are short one vehicle now and trying to get our little escort out of the shop and back on the road. We need a little zippy car with these gas prices!!
Very thankful that Mom and Dad are ok......it could have been SO much worse.
