I am thinking about getting bees to improve pollination on our fruit trees and gardens. However we do have some free ranging chickens to help with insect controll. Will they eat all of the bees? Will they sit at the bee hive and pick them all off? I don't want to waste my time. thanks

put the bee hive up on a platform above the birds head that way when the bees fly out they have a chance to get up into the air rather than piced off right away,
guineas especially would love to pic them off

we have free range chickens and bees, the chickens do not bother the
bees.we did have a skunk that was eating alot of them so we put some nails thru a board then fliped it over in front of the hive,no more skunk problems. :)
