Truly amazing. I've always felt that our outside dogs could immediately detect if a visitor was friendly and a dog lover. This must apply to the birds and WIHH. This is something to think about. Thanks for sharing.

That amazes me! I thought it was cool when the chipmunks at Yellowstone came up to get something to eat. I keep thinking of Snow White when she could get all the forest creatures to come to her.

We have a chipmunk like that at our campsite. He thinks we are a fast food place! When we cant get up there for the weekend, we always make sure someone runs food up for him. He's been there so long I don't think he knows how to forage anymore. I'm glad to see him, as he's been there every weekend since our honeymoorn. But I worry about him in the winter as he is human dependant. The man who owns the campground feeds him all winter long, along with the squirrels. He's never come to sit in my hand tho. I think he knows I was a dog in a former life. I probably chased him.

Fantastic photo! We get lots of visitors to our feeders all winter, but chickadees are my favorites.

And the deck ain't half bad, either. :)
