Maybe I should not be surprised to see members, one in particular, support terrorism when it serves her position, even if that position crosses national boundaries. I guess we should be prepared for almost anything post Roe v. Wade.

EMILY’s List, Planned Parenthood and NARAL, a trio of abortion rights groups, announced $150 million in spending on the 2022 midterms.
“We will be using every tool in the toolbox to tell this story,” said Heather Williams, executive director at the Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee.

Last week, an evil creature slaughtered 19 children and two teachers in their classroom in Texas. While some may call this horrific act “senseless” or “random,” we know that’s not the case. We know that this was an act of male domination and patriarchal violence, meant to make women, children and teachers live in fear. We know it is deeply connected to the reproductive violence about to be unleashed on this land by an illegitimate institution founded in white male supremacy.

We cannot think of a clearer example in this time of the need for autonomously organized self-defense networks. We cannot think of a clearer example of the desperate need for those who can get pregnant to learn how to confront misogynistic violence directly. We also believe this unlearning of our self-containment can begin in the streets when we organize alongside one another to confront state forces of evil and domination.

Several weeks ago, we watched and waited as self-proclaimed “feminist organizations” and non-profits took the lead on arranging their demure little rallies for freedom. We were told to let them handle it, and to defer to the political machinery that has thusfar failed to secure our liberation. In a world where the news media has an attention span of about 24 hours on their best day, we knew these hollow gestures would fail to capture attention. We knew we were witnessing counterinsurgency in action. We cannot sit idly by anymore while our anger is yet again channeled into Democratic party fundraisers and peace parades with the police.

We were even told we must cooperate with them because they work alongside abortion providers and clinic escorts…a group of people who, at this moment in time, cannot possibly risk their lives or their livelihoods any further than they already are. We honor these providers and their service. We do not honor those who would use them as a shield against direct and militant action. We believe the greatest honor we could give them would be to act meaningfully in their name.

According to Jordan Peterson, part of the cause of these boys becoming shooters is the woke movement and the attack on masculinity.

Take a teenage boy going through all the teenage angst they go through and then tell him that white males are the cause of all the evil in the world and every so often you get exactly what you preached.

Or they are just trouble in the first place because that premise does not explain away previous bad acts.

Jordan Peterson’s recent musings on what he calls “postmodern neomarxism” — enriched by hours of careful research on Wikipedia — are a reminder that when it comes to intellectuals, the reactionary right isn’t sending its best.

The attack on masculinity has been going on since well before that murderer was in kindergarten. Citing his previous bad actions does not defuse Moon’s point like you think it does.

No matter where you are in the world, no matter the social status, no matter the financial status, slums, ghetto, or four star hotel. One out of a hundred people will harm you if they have the opportunity. They will rob, stab, shoot, or just punch you in the mouth. That 1% is always out there, it's just the way it is. It may be worse in High School, due to lack of life experience on how to deal with social problems.

Kids are mean little monsters, when it comes to how they treat someone who is different, shy, a nerd, doesn't fit in an accepted click, or just happens to act a little odd. There is so little real parenting going on, that it has become considered normal to let television and social media raise kids. It is rare for a parent to sit down with their kid, and explain to them, "this is how you do this".

From controlling the urge to smack someone in the mouth, because they disagree with you, to how to be respectful to your grandmother. If there is no father figure, mom is trying to raise three or more kids on minimum wage, it is even worse.

I personally have no use for organized religion, but attending church, and going to Sunday School does afford the opportunity to learn social interaction. As apposed to learning your social skills in an alley, with junkies, dealers, and winos.

Schools used to teach Home Economics, and Building Trades, now they teach little kids how to be transgender. Sports taught kids how to be strong, and play fair. Now little kids learn, they are owed something from someone, based on skin color, and what some ancestors did or didn't do a few hundred years ago. Teachers brag about shaping the minds of kids and making them aware of all the injustices in the world, but not how to read, or make change.

And if you speak up and suggest that kids should be taught a few real life skills, or to be productive, pull up their pants, and how to carry on a conversation without resorting to violence, and burning something down. You will be called all manner of things, some of which you may have never heard of before. You will be canceled, vilified, and accused of being a domestic terrorist.

If you want to address mental health in kids, how about two weeks of summer camp each year. Even if the parents can't afford to pay for it. Teach them how to live peacefully in a small cabin with ten strangers. How to do chores, picking up trash, rake the walkway, sweeping the floor, and picking up after themselves. Teach them all how to swim, (something I never learned to do, because I was in a hay field not at a beach). Teach them confidence building skills, like building a fire without matches or a Bic lighter. How not to get lost in a ten acre city park. Every ten year old kid should know how to prepare a simple meal. How to peel potatoes, fry an egg, plant a garden. They won't be experts, but they will know how to do something. Other than video games, and watching endless commercials on TV telling them how they should look, what they should wear, and how they should smell.

Like it or not every young kid, five to fifteen will probably handle a gun unsupervised my any adult. Teach them gun safety, how to unload a revolver and a pistol. I could do this when I was five. My dad knew that kids are going to want to play with a gun, when they see one. So he taught me and my five brothers and three sisters how to unload them before we went to Kindergarten.

I once had a woman ask me what kind of rifle she should get for her kid. He had never handled or shot a firearm. He wanted to learn how to hunt, and was planning a Elk hunting trip with one of his friends. When I asked her how old he was, she said, "He is 25, I don't like guns so we never allowed him to be around them".

I was at a loss, for how to address this level of stupid.

I would say a part of it is digital games. Not because of the violence, look at the cartoons of yester year. I think it is the lack of , social mores, for lack of a better term. Kids are on the computers non stop playing games instead of interacting with reality. We are having quite the fight with our teenage son because we limit the time he can play games, and just sit on the computer. It can be really hard for a kid when everyone else is playing games 18-20 hours a day and he gets one hour a day if he can keep his attitude in check.

I have people tell me how mature my kids are for their ages.

I like the camp idea!

That few? I would have thought more like 70%.

A life experience camp would be great. I think 2 weeks is too short but it would be a start. No electronics allowed except in emergencies.

The goal is to federalize the issue
It won't happen and Democrat politicians know it. The American people will support abortion for somewhere around 15-20 weeks after conception and liberals would never agree to that. Conservatives could put that on the table next week and it would never come up for a vote.

I would support it and I am liberal. I personally don't know any liberal that would not as long as later abortions based on the health of the fetus or woman.

Only 1 percent of abortions happen after 21 weeks as it is.
