What are the best, waterproof outdoor work shoes some of the men here could recommend others get?

And if you know a good source and can share that too, great!

I'll stand by my Danners any day. They aren't cheap in anyway at over $200 a pair. I spend all day outside in all weather. We thrift much of what I wear, but when it comes to boots and foul weather gear quality really counts. My last pair lasted almost five years being worked in daily 7 months out of the year (winter boots up here are a whole different story).

Oilpatch is right about Cabela's. Plenty of other quality options there. One thing I've learned about winter boots is the temperature ratings really aren't what they say. Even quality brands that state a -20F rating really don't mean you can be out in -20 all day.....at least that has been my experience.

Don't remember how many times I've been grateful to have the metal toes.
