I'm gluing felt to a canning lid and want it to look nice/no spots where the glue is.

I use Aleenes tacky glue for everything craftwise, or e6000 for sturdier gluing needs,
You may want to thin some craft glue with a lil bit of water and brush it on the lid then lay the felt down on it and smooth it out so no wrinkles or bubbles in it.
Hope this helps ya!

consider roughing up the canning lid a little with sandpaper...giving the glue something to sink into. If you want the felt to last a longer time, an epoxy would work better on the metal of the lid, but e6000 is great stuff, as Susan said :)
