On average, about how many pounds of wax can you get per super if you're only cutting the caps off and not stripping the whole comb off the frame? Is it around a half pound per super or more like a pound?

Half to 3 quarter pounds once you melt it down and get all the honey out. It also has to do with how many frames in the super. I mostly run 8 frames so when the caps are cut off there is hardly any cells not opened. In the 9 frame supers there are more cells I have to use the capping scratcher to open.
