Lacy, do you remember the variety of avocado? When we lived in L.A. we had 2 kinds; hass and fuerte. They were 50 year old trees about 50 feet tall each and more fruit than we could use. We sold them to restaurants in the area. Now we are in AZ about 4,500 feet and get cold winters so we need a hardy variety.
