No, I was somthing closer to that when I was younger. Ive come to learn that life is what you make it; If you make it a meaningless slog through a pointless existence, then it will be. If you hold life sacred and meaningful, honor traditions, have faith in something bigger than yourself, then it will be all of those things too.

This is hugely important, because public school systems often blatantly push nihilism. Think about this: if all life is meaningless, you get born, suffer, then cease to exist, a disturbed person might just think killing a bunch of kids in a school is only freeing them from suffering more. And then you have another Uvalde or Sandy Hook.
