Hello, I am thinking of purchasing a few Saanans. My question is: Are Saanans naturally polled or will they develope horns if not disbudded? Also, does anyone know of where on the internet I can view a Saanan with horns? Thank you in advance....Dennis

I have never met a polled Saanen and I don't think I know anyone who had one either.

To see what a Saanen looks like with horns, then the same goat with 1 horn, then no horns, check our site in the signature line.

Even in her long horn pictures they had about 5 inches taken off the ends and were rounded....but were still leathel weapons.

I have a half Saanen/half Nubian that is polled. I know that Cathy Pindell has a bunch of polled Saanens.

But no, they can be either polled or horned.
