We're old too. 3 dogs, 30 chickens and gardens. If you get too bored I have some old hens that need plucked.
So you ARE experienced at plucking. Good, How far away from Missouri?like that...oldasrocks...hadn't plucked chickens in years...
thanks
Kids have no idea of what work is now. Plucking chickens? No way they would do that. Easier to just go to KFC. For other jobs it takes me longer to explain how to do something than just do it myself. Sad part is I don't have the physical strength or energy to accomplish much anymore. It gets done but takes me a lot longer.I pluck hair. I won't go into detail.
But my gosh, for older folks, it is tough. Like finding a young sprout to help you. Maybe here you can find that someone to help. BUT DO THAT in messaging. I'm sure someone has to live close by you.
Is there a policy in this stuff?
So share with us on the kinds that actually work.Squirrel resistant feeders are worth every penny. I had gone through several before I found ones that really work.
