looking for a place i can just sip my coffee...relax...
my husband and me been working on this little place here...
we garden...no stock animals...just critters...
our lil dog...
we enjoy backyard birds...squirrels

we're sorta "hillbillies"...
look forward to seeing ya'll in these pages!

I pluck hair. I won't go into detail.

But my gosh, for older folks, it is tough. Like finding a young sprout to help you. Maybe here you can find that someone to help. BUT DO THAT in messaging. I'm sure someone has to live close by you.

Is there a policy in this stuff?

It's always good to have a few more seasoned members of the group, to kind counteract the young whipper snappers.

Interesting point. Maybe we should start a thread to see who the oldest member is.

I bet I would be near the top . . .

Kids have no idea of what work is now. Plucking chickens? No way they would do that. Easier to just go to KFC. For other jobs it takes me longer to explain how to do something than just do it myself. Sad part is I don't have the physical strength or energy to accomplish much anymore. It gets done but takes me a lot longer.

Ah... Maxine......she so reminds me of my Aunt Ruby. She could have been the inspiration for the character

Too old? Are we racing later or something??? ...cause I gots a bad knee and the arthritis is in my hip is acting up something fierce!
I used to joke and say it's not the years its the mileage... well now my years and mileage match so I'm all outta jokes! :LOL:
