    Thanks for the reminder Don, most Americans are not aware that Austrailian/NZ troops were involved also in WW2, Korea, and VN as our allies.

    This website you will find really interesting.
    As I am a tree kind of person I read they also do this in Honor of the fallen veterans on the oak trees in the Waitaki District. On every one of the oak trees there they put little white crosses and poppy's of honor. That is a great rememberence tradition I think.
