Hence continues my search for rabbit-related info...today's country is Iceland. :nerd: Can anyone read Icelandic or a similar Scandinavian language like Danish? I've looked at those free online translation tools, but they don't translate either language.

Just trying to find a breeder in Iceland who speaks [hopefully] English...or who can understand German, French, Italian, Spanish, or one of the other languages that Babelfish DOES work on. :) Thanks.

The closest thing I can find is the one I use all the time-- www.freetranslation.com. They translate from English to Norweigan...hope it helps!

Wow! I did not think of this resource! As in this forum! Duhhhh!
How about English to Japanese? The ttranslation sites didn't help me but maybe someone out there can.

I am making a little quilt for a tiny Japanese baby...I would like the title to say " Angel Child with Ball" or "Girl Child with Ball" as this is what the theme is.

    Any help most appreciated!

    LQ,

Angel Child with a ball. (very basic)

    Mitsukai kodomo motte ato Butoukai.

That is close as I could get.

If you want to exchange Angel with Girl use, "Mecchen" instead of "Mitsukai".
This is also more a English structure than Japanese.

You folks amaze me...to tell the truth, I didn't think anyone would have a clue about this, but I guess with a board this size...thank you for your help folks, I did try the free online services, but the translation wasn't too good.

bergere, I'm sending you a PM...I think I'm going to let the translation thing slide for right now, but I would love to talk with [bilingual] folks from Iceland.

I have some longstanding friends up in Akureyri on the far north coast of Iceland. I could see if they could find a breeder. Does the breed have a particular name?
