I am wanting to raise them outdoors in az. I just have some questions on your specific adaptations to keep them safe from heat/cold. How do you do it??
    Thanks,
    Lisa

I am in the Maricopa area, so I have a climate similar to you. I am rural so it is a few degrees cooler at night and a few degrees hotter during the day.

Ok, cold is of no concern to us. It will never get cold enough here to harm the rabbits. Just keep them out of drafts when it drops below 40 or so. Heat is our major problem. I have a 8'x30' rabbit barn with a large swamp cooler running on it. It provides ventilation in the winter and cooling the other 10 months of the year  So if your going to raise them outdoors, I would set up a swamp cooler to blow on them when the temps get over 80 otherwise just keep them in the shade.
