If I wake up early enough, I might poke my head out the back door and try to get a glimpse before dawn, but dang it's cold here.

I'm always up before the dawn and have seen meteor showers such as this before. Definately worth losing a few hours of sleep over.

WIHH, open the doors early in the morning, just about sunrise. My squirrels are most active in the couple hours after sunrise.

Last night would have been perfect for stargazing, except for 2 things. A full moon, and freeze the you know what's off a brass monkey COLD! Yeah, sure, 20*F isn't all that cold, unless your temps were in the upper 60's just a week ago.

The clouds had moved in for days upon days here--yesterday was the first sunshine in over a week, then cloudy again this morn...I'm celebrating the afternoon sunshine!!:sing:

As a result of said clouds, I totally missed the full moon last week--completely! That never happens! So, naturally, I've missed these showers as well...here's to hoping!!
