While looking at properties needing to be moved(found I know someone on another forum that does this for a living) I found this:

    www.presnc.org/buyproperty/central/lukes_place/lukesplace.html

    2600 square feet,approx 12 acres for $110,000.

Pretty cool what you can find on these historical properties websites.

OZ: Thats a wonderful house and the north carolina historic site is wonderful. Sure wish more states had a site that listed all the available historic houses like this one. Theres also a link to the Glencoe Mills Project, a group of available houses in a small mill town. http://www.glencoemill.org/

Thanks Crafty Diva. You shouldnt indulge my love of tumble down old houses. Im getting too old to deal with them but the possibilities still fascinate me. I should find a crew of like minded YOUNG workers and go into the business of rescuing all the abandoned places I have seen over the years. ;)
