Anyone know what type "meat beans" are?

    They are big and white, flesh colored, like a lima...but I don't know what they ware. I tried some canned beans, but the ingredients listed them as meat bean. It was imported from Greece or Italy.

    Those are probably some form of fava bean. I used to get canned beans with flavorings from Trader Joes. They were from Greece and just fantabulously deeelicious. Sometimes, I'd cook a strip of bacon to add to them. Sure wish I could find them again.
