I'm getting tired of the news, because nothing happens THAT fast, and it is often repetitive. I don't play internet games, as I get bored with them. Anyone have any ideas? Are there news sites I'm missing? I only read NYtimes for the art section. I go to cnn and foxnews. I'm here a lot lurking and reading, and I'm on a site called BlossomSwap, which is a warm and friendly place for those of you interested in plants. Any ideas I would be grateful!

I went to current events, It looks like they are actually telling the truth. I guess people that don't want things told the way they are, maybe they have thin skin? Thank for all the sites guys!

First off, I have strange and morbid tastes...

    So, I like:

    www.imdb.com
Internet movie database, love reading trivia about films.

    www.hillbillyhousewife.com
    lots of recipes, frugal ideas

    www.findadeath.com
Stories of the final ends of the famous and infamous, not for the faint-hearted, easily offended or those with weak stomachs.

    www.findagrave.com
Photos of where the famous and infamous have their final resting places.

    www.mommysavers.com
Tons of recipes, frugal ideas and tons more.

    www.knowingpoe.thinkport.org
This is probably the best Edgar Allan Poe site I have ever seen, has an interactive mystery, poetry, and all his written works.

    www.nationalgeographic.com/salem
An incredible and factually accurate interactive site. Go through the Salem Witch Trials and see if you will survive.

    www.robertburns.org
All the works of the great poet, translated and non-translated. Also, learn how to give a Robert Burns Supper.

Try Arts & Letters Daily and 2Blowhards. Good brain fodder at both, although I don't visit the blowhards as often as I once did.

    Here are mine

    www.i-am-bored.com
    www.ilovebacon.com (some adult content)
www.dlisted.com (celebrity gossip, wicked comments, adult content, can be considered offensive)
    www.roadsideamerica.com
    www.coasttocoastam.com
    www.ratbags.com
    www.cruel.com (I rate this one NC-17)
www.consumptionjunction (adults only, not porn, but not for the easily offended either)
www.tedsstudio.com/bugsport/ (web comic inspired by Coast to Coast AM)
www.twolumps.net (webcomic about what your cat does while you're not home)
and my all time favorite: www.fark.com

And several dozen 'kook' sites, the wackier the better.

Michelle if you like fox news you should checkout washingtontimes online. My DH lives in there. He reads everything that comes out of Wes Pruden's mouth.

If you are from Hawaii, and feel a bit homesick having left the islands for someplace else, there's the AlohaWorldOhanaLanai. A lovely family-type board.

I belong to a forum called Refunding Makes Cents. As a visitor you can see all the "internet hot deals" listed on the home page. For a small yearly subscription you have access to the whole forum and threads such as "freebies."
