My sister lives in Battle Ground 
Well, more towards Brush Pairie, but basically the same place. She bought her farmhouse and 5 acres for $185,000. Not sure if that's cheap or what, lol.
It rains alot there, but it does everywhere else in the northwest. The soil is good for growing anything, imo. The commute to Vancouver is good. My sister found some back roads that get her there faster, or you could just go up the freeway.
