I did some weeding today and saw what I had some how over looked when watering the last few days, my eggplant is supporting a thriving colony of aphids and ants. So I got my handy 7 dust and got to work. I know 7 dust kills bees as well so my question is dose anyone know something not bad for bees that will clear up a nasty Aphid infestation?

For just aphids, 2 tablespoons of a mild soap in a gallon of water. I add 100% cold pressed neem oil to mine for other bugs, but soap is great for aphids. Spray the entire plant, under the leaves to. Wait a few days, spray again, then spray as needed. Once dry, the neem and soap will not hurt any beneficial insects, but neem will continue to kill off chewing insects. With aphids being a sucking insect, the spray has to contact them to be effective.

If it is just a few plants, turning over the leaves and squishing them with your fingers works the best.
