Hey everyone..We had another set of quads born here on tuesday.3 does and 1 very beautiful buck. All 3 does are white with few black spots on their head. The buck is a beautiful black and tan.The nanny is a first time freshner and she is 1/2 pygmy & 1/2 fainter. The sire is a purebred pygmy.

So so far this is what we have had.
    1 set of triplets (2 bucks & 1 doe)
    1 single buck kid.
    1 set of twins(both bucks)
2 set of quads (1st set all does 2nd set 3 does & 1 buck)

I promise I will post some pictures as soon as I can,if it only didn't take so lonf to upload them on this darn dial up.

    WOW! Congratulations!
    Can't wait for the pics
Is it common for a first freshener to have multiples?

Thanks everyone. We are very thankful to be having such a wonderful year.I am very pleased with this new buck that I have been using. He is a smaller pygmy that is a light carmel who is naturally polled. The last doe who gave us quads was bred to my foundation buck and last year he gave us 9 does and 3 bucks(I think that is the number).

Chickenmom, It is not very common for first time freshner to give birth to quads. She was pretty aggressive to her kids and we are bottle feeding 3 of her kids. The little buck seems to be doing great and he is the largest out of the bunch.Hopefully next year she will be a better mom and a least she will know what to do and realize they are not a predator.
