I just made a mock apple pie out of zucchini and you would never know it's made from zucchini and not apples!! The zucchini is peeled and sliced for the pie.....question is how do I freeze the zucchini to have for pie? Thanks!

No need to steam the zucchini. Just chop n freeze in baggies. Cool idea on the pie. I'm trying this. Thanks.

I've made that mock apple pie before as well, it's real good! I agree, chop and freeze in baggies, that's what we do with ours... though I wonder if it would taste the same once thawed and made into this pie?

Freeze some zucchini and try it and see if you like the results? Otherwise it may work better to make and freeze the pies.
