Well after reading a few posts on entering produce in the county fair. Then a older fella that comes in here where I work saw my garden pictures. He talked me into entering some stuff in our county fair. I had to get the paper work done by Aug. 1. So I went and got the booklet yesterday, filled it out and turned it in today.

I will be entering the classes of:
    Largest pumpkin
    Golden nugget tomatoes
    Yellow and white onions
    Okra
    Small gourd
    Muskmellon
    Habanero peppers
    Eggplant

So if you have entered any of these classes at the Allen Co. fair in Lima Ohio, you have some new compitition! :baby04:

Well I went to the Fair yesterday and found out the results from my entries. I got 4 ribbons out of 8 entries! I got a first place with my gourds and habanero peppers, second place with my white onions and a third with my okra.

I am really excited as I have never entered anything in the fair before.

Here is a picture on the produce I entered.

I too entered our county fair. I ended up with 10 blues, 8 reds, and a white for my flowers and vegtables. Pays for next years seeds and plants!
