I put together an Excell spreadsheet today to automatically keep track of my animal breeding details. By plugging in the date incubation starts, this program will let you know the hatch date, when to stop turning, when to put eggs in a pipping chamber, ect... It keeps track of culled eggs, and brooder losses to give you a ratio of sucessfull hatches and egg to brooder ratios. It can chart who your most productive birds and rabbits are. As dates approach, color coded flags let you know to put in nest boxes, ect... It tracks which rabbits produce how many kits and the survival ratio thru weaning. It has a separate page for chickens, Mallard derivatives, Muscovies and rabbits. With a few changes it is easily adaptable for any animal breeding program. I wrote it in the Office 2000 version. I think that it should work on any reasonably modern version of Excell. It isn't working with Works, but I think that I can fix that. If anyone would like a copy, let me know and I'll E-mail it to you.
