We bought a Methley plum (supposely self-pollinating) several years ago. It bloomed its first spring and then set a few tiny fruit, which fell off long before maturity, probably due to very heavy spring rains. Fair enough. Thing is, it hasn't even bloomed since. For the past two springs it's just gotten bigger and healthier looking, but not a single flower. :help:

It sounds like it's not in full sun all day or there is too much nitrogen. Do you fertilize your grass? Is it close to a lawn area? Don't use rapid gro. Try adding super-phosphate or triple super phosphate. Bone meal is good but it may attract dogs, coons, or other animals.
