i have a pasture that i am developing. lots of trees and brush in it yet. i will be needing to sread lime and the granulated is pretty expensive compared to the ag lime. any ideas on sreading it with a 3 point spreader on a tractor? or perhaps some mods to make it work. i found a link to an old sreader that had a trough on the back of a truck and you had to shovel it into the spreader as you went along. anyway was hoping to find a solution. thanks, johnny

I tried a cone type 3-pt. hitch speader. Forget it. I let my pile get what I though was bond dry but it kept packing down at the bottom. The little stirrer just made a cake out of it.
