I've sometimes wondered, the French for "cat" is "chat."

Mon Dieu! That means a leading cat from the French Foreign Legion must be in charge of that forum. Perhaps we should just surrender?

The very thought of it made me pull out and watch my old VHS tape of "King of Hearts." Now I have Georges Delerue's theme as an earworm. What a wonderful film.

I know of SO many small businessmen who'd love to hire that cat to deal with cold-calling salesmen.
Maybe the Organised Crime Squad of the FBI could recruit him or her to deal with protection racketeers - or go into competition with them.
Obviously that shop owner appreciated the episode.

There are indeed general cats. They live deep underground planning their eventual world domination. The aboveground cats are just there to lull humans into a false sense of security.
