....has anyone had any luck freezing dough prior to the last rise? I know my sourdough loaves won't survive the freezer but was hoping that standard baking yeast might tolerate being frozen for a period of time. It would be nice to take a loaf out of the freezer and pop in a pan...let it rise and have fresh bread for dinner!

I've been making some breads with Ed Wood's sourdough...great stuff!! Anyone else using his products?

    regards,
    Bob

I agree about the frozen bread. Do you know what the freezer life of the dough is or does your wife bake pretty frequently. I bake about every three days.

If I remember right, freezer life of frozen dough is 3 months.
