Mellisa over on the Country Families board is offering a Christmas gift of a one year subscription to Countryside magazine. She'll draw a name from a hat and award the gift. I'd like to do the same for you with a one year subscription to Sheep! magazine. Just add your name below and I'll draw a name Christmas morning and post it. Yes you can gift it to someone else if you win too.

Thanks Ross. I have been wanting to subscribe to Sheep but am too cheap. My name is Narita Siegel and we just got our St. Croix and Painted Desert sheep. Can't wait for them to lamb soon. We also have 2 bummer ram lambs that are so cute. Just love bottle babies as they are so friendly. We hope to get more from a friend of ours. We have goat's milk we can feed them that the other folks don't have access to. Also we are retired so we are rich in time. Sure hope I win as we love to learn all we can about our sheep. They are so cute and easy to be around. Hope to tame them a bit like the bummer rams. Also want to start our Aussies in herding when the new babies are weaned.

The winner will have to PM or email me a name and addy but it will be held in confidence as far as I'm concerned. I don't know if Sheep! mag editors sell mailing lists or not.

jotun's wife says 'add me and if I win we can all pretend that it was his idea and that he is the one who wants to add a sheep or six to my spinner's flock!'

What a neat idea!! Thanks for getting this together, Ross and for everything you do!! Actually the Sheep! mag is on my Christmas list this year. (I am not really holding my breath.) Oh well - probably won't get the calf sled I asked for either. Thought that would be nice for moving sq bales. Can't complain though we are having heat wave today. It actually got up to a whole 12 degrees!!!

Oh yah - would you please put my name in too? Thanks!
Merry Christmas everyone and Haapy New Year!

Thanks for the warning on the ram lambs. I did think of them being mean when they were moved today. Luckily they are still very sweet but we never turn our backs on them.

I'll send you mine, Deb...it's getting on my nerves!!! :p

And as long as we're doling out gifts here, perhaps Ross can draw a second name and I'll send a couple bars of sheep milk soap out!

How wonderful of you, Ross! I'd like to be in on the drawing, too. I don't post a lot, but lurk and learn often! My ewes have benefited so much from the advice I've gotten here. Jan in Co

All are welcome even if you have never posted at all! Sure I can draw two names Kesoaps, I'll pass it on to you if unless you'd rather draw one from the list yourself.
