What I'm wanting to know was it based on a True Story? I thought it was,but got to the last I wasn't sure

I saw this movie as well and had that same thought. The carnivous aggressive seal pretty much made me say hummm, but the rest maybe very actual.

Yes, a Japanese exploration team is the source of the original story. Or so I learned from a web search. :)

I hate when people think Dogs are expendable,Humans can learn alot about loyalty and honor from animals. Its one thing for a dog to give its life defending you and yours , its unforgivable to chain one up and leave it to die.
The tiger seal was a bit over sized but they are mean

I think the DVD jacket says it is based on a true story. WE enjoyed that movie too.

Yea my wife thinks I go overboard with my relationship with my Dogs. But they are so cool, and if I was to ever move I would have to take into consideration their being Happy and Safe.
