My husband will be leaving tommorow for a school to teach carpentry at the college here a couple hours a day for 4 highschoolers. I can t decide if I should goof off all week or catch up on my work. I am going to visit 2 old friends and get my hair cut and I may just , well I really will see how the mood carrys me.No cooking for a week. Now that sounds great to me.I may be a little scared at night but I LL KEEP MY BIG CHOW IN AND GOT THAT SHOTGUN BY MY BED TO KEEP ME COMPANYand 8 cats and a yapping liitle dog and an old hound,surely one of them will defend me.We will see how it goes.,Nancy

I never been by myself so Ill have to see how it works but my boys will be in and out so I wint be completly alone. I just wont have to cook 3 times a day. nancy

DH has more vacation time than I do, so he travels the weeks we don't have together. I rather enjoy having the house to myself when he's gone, though I keep a couple extra dogs with me when I'm alone.

good thing you have the boys here and there,,,my oldest is stationed in Hawaii and my middle DD went back home with her and my youngest is at a friends house,,,and i am home alone just tonight and i am lonely,,,the dogs are just sleeping no fun...LOL,,,but enjoy your time alone,,,
