Yes, it is a wet style brake. After talking to a local tractor service center. He tells me I will have to remove the axle to locate the brake mechanisim. As well he informed me that the disk very rarely fails, but the piston o-rings do. He also mentioned as you did that I need to make sure there is plenty of Hyd oil in the system and to bleed the lines for any possible air pockets. He said if the oil ever went low and was then filled there could be air in the lines.Tractorman said:I have never worked on this tractor but seems a lot of the time there are plenty of adjustment on them.
