Western Wyoming, a little place called Star Valley. We are @ 6500 feet.

While it makes have coffee on the porch in the mornning a winter sport, it makes for much more tolerable days.

Remind me to hate you. The heat index should hit 105 here today. I had a cool 72 degrees on my front porch this morning. Blow a little cool this way.

Wow! Bbrrr! It was 75 here this morning and the heat index today is supposed to be 108-110. My sister-in-law lives in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. (I think that's the name?)

I don't even wanna hear about it.

So far we've had 33 days this year over 100. Today it's supposed to be a high of 105, low of 80 overnight. And no rain in sight, as usual. :flame:

Jackson Hole is just up the road. We lived there before buying this property.

Remember this cool comes with it's own problems. Produce gardens do not do real well. You cover up at night or have a green house.

High's around 100 degrees today, and still no rain in the forecast!

LOL! And here I am humming - "Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!"

Well, not really - after all, how likely is it when I live in Central Texas - even in the winter time! Besides, I like crisp autumn weather best, not arctic cold, howling snow laden winds etc.

What I HAVE is hot, muggy, sweaty days, and way too warm muggy nights at the moment. OTOH, I get to enjoy tomatoes fresh picked still - definitely something to relish.

I've lived in Montana, Alaska, south Texas, Nevada, California, Japan, and England. My own viewpoint is that no matter where you live there's something about the weather to complain about. :D Might as well be happy where you are :)

And back to your thread.. I'd LOVE some cooler weather in the morning!

Same here in Montana. Woke up to 37 today. Elevation a little lower, 5500 ft. I read that the Northwest is going to have an early fall/winter by two weeks. The next post from me will be, "What do I do with all these green tomatoes?"

It dropped below 90 last night...I'm still shivering....this is not normal for the tropics in August....I think one of you must have left a window open in your microclimate.

I do absolutely love our weather here in VA the spring was so long and summer was only hot a few weeks (not the normal - usually cooler), it's been getting down to 52-54 at night and today is a absolutely PERFECT day - 75, sunny with a nice stiff breeze - it could only be bettered if it were 70 degrees my favorite temp!

I will miss the snow we had in New England - nothing like a blizzard where you get 3' of snow in one night.
