The floor was very cold by the open window this morning. Checked the temp, I now see why!

I will have to wear socks this morning.

I would think that at 28 degrees you would want to wear something besides just socks :D

wow, and I was enjoying the cool weather we've been having here the past week...

Of course, the highs were still in the upper 80s, but felt good after all those 100 degree days.

Low of 55F here... Thought that was chilly...yesterday saw 50F for the low...should be near 80F for the high...I'm sure it warms up quick in WY with the dry air?

WOW! I was under a big fat comforter and it was 66* this morning. I would have been frozen stiff at 28*.

No growing season! I get a hard frost in early August at least once!

Fall has arrived here, too. Colors are changing, chilly mornings. Time to get the last of the garden put up. But you know what the best part is? Most of the tourists go home!!!

Brrrr! That's cold! Our low was 49 here last night. It's definitely fall, as the leaves are turning color.

Mid 50s and high fog/low clouds here in California, but I'm not terribly far from the coast. Our weather here is stabilized by the ocean currents which keep the offshore water between 52 and 58 all year, and most of our air comes in off the ocean. The interior of the state gets a lot hotter. Southern California, south of Pt. Conception, has a different water current system that is much warmer, which is why they have palm tree weather and we have redwood tree weather. We will not have frost until mid-November, on average.

Wyoming's weather is part of what protects Wyoming from the yahoos. Imagine if the tourist came and settled in. Be glad of it.

The cold and wind hit here, right on schedule, two days before dove season. I drove over 200 miles yesterday and saw one dove. Don't even know if we'll go dove hunting today.

Lucky! It has been in the 50s here at night and I think that is great. Can't wait for cooler and colder weather.

I like cool weather, but 28 is a bit too cool for this time of year for my taste. I love winter, but I want fall first.

At 7000 ft we're right behind you. Raining and just above freezing here in Colorado. They'll probably get snow higher up tonight.
