Good evening and almost Autumn.
The email account has been activated to receive the photos that you wish to enter into consideration for the 2011 Calendar.
The theme this year will be HOMESTEADING FUN. Cookouts, horses horsing around, children swinging, ladies knitting, men hunting (or men knitting and ladies hunting), playing in the streams, or just laying in a hammock looking at the sky. You get the idea - I hope.
Please do not put in a photo that's been in a previous calendar. But, okay to put in previous entry.
Also, please try to not have a huge photo emailed. If it wins, I can get the huge original from you. Try to keep them about a size for the email that could be seen on one HT screen without having to slide the screen.
Now - 2 entries per member that chooses to enter please.
Keep them within last 5 years or so, I'm expanding the timeframe as it's a specific theme - and there are good photos out there that could be missed otherwise.
From tonight until October 22 - One Month. Then I'll take time to get them in a manner to be voted on for the 12 months - and I might choose the cover, or we may vote on it - totally depends on the photos entered. The past two calendars there has been a photo that would just jump out and yell COVER.

I'm aiming for a late November/early December print/mailing of these.
No, we don't have a firm price yet, but I expect no more than last year, and maybe back down to the first year's price.
The winning photos will have a calendar given to the member as a prize.
And I think this year we will allow only one winning photo per member name.
I'm really looking forward to seeing this year's entries.
