    I don't know where you are, but here in ne CT, my strawberries did not survive winter in their grow bags....should have hung them in the basement :(

    It really depends on where you live.
    We start strawberries in the fall around here for berries the next spring.

    They will survive a LIGHT frost or freeze but only on a limited bases.

    If you live in a area that gets hard freezes or a frost every night you need to bring them in.
