Good price - they are $1.09 a pound here

thats why I love living here, I have 3 family owned farms as neighbors, and they each have large farmstands during the spring supper and fall (all but one close for the winter though)
Thier fields are right in and around town, I can watch the corn growing from my house, and tomatoes, and everything else lol Its' local food at it's best! A little further down the road is a family owned apple orchard that opens for picking in the fall. Its clsoe enough to ride my bike to.

Plus the amish sell thier chese and eggs at one of the famrstands, and there are local grown free range turkeys, and hams sold for the holidays at the farms.
