I have a doe that was due on Monday (day 31). She never built a nest
or anything so today (day 35) I decided to breed her. So I put her
with a buck and she was more than willing to cooperate. I left them
for about 20 min. and when I came back there was a still born kit on
the wire. It was not grossly deformed but the head did not look right.
Next to it was a firm somewhat, round, "something" not sure what.
So my question is if there are more will she pass them now? Will this
breeding be valid? Should she even be fertile? What would you all do?
    Thanks,

No, actually, that is great. Sometimes, when they keep babies in them, breeding them will actually help get the bunnies out, obviously this happened with you. The round something would be the placenta. :D Hopefully she will pass them, the breeding probably won't be valid, and I would breed her back again, hopefully, if she has more in her, that will help her get them out, and if not then she can get bred again. How is she doing now?

She acts fine, eats and drinks fine but the only kit we saw was the one. I tried to put her back with the buck but she became very agressive. Still no more kits. I am giving her a couple of days and will put her in with the buck again. I hope she passed all she needed to pass!
