Fl., Mississippi, Texas is under heavy rain watch Sunday on. May get a couple rains from it in
South Missouri. Maybe.

One of the park lakes in here has gone completely dry this year. Hoping this round gets some water going in there again. So far it's piddled since 12pm today. Sposed to get more intense as the night progresses. Stay safe, those in the direct line of fire!

Last weekend there was a bad mudslide at the end of days and days of rain. It's been miserable and it looks like the farmers here are going to have a really bad year if it doesn't stop soon.
We had a few days of relief (Mon.-Wed.) and now more coming with Alberto. i don't think the rain will stop until Friday.
Among the deaths this week, this happened a few hours ago.......

Lots of roads closed here in NC mountains, downed trees, some power out, little bridges gone, gravel roads too rutted to drive on, I think my next big purchase is gonna be a small tractor with all the goodies.
Hopefully by tomorrow the rain will stop long enough to start fixing things. Right now the creeks and rivers are running pretty close to wipe out a whole lot more.
