Pest control foggers

my situation... I have a full walk up attic for storage. I’ve been setting bug foggers off in The attic for past 2 years and it has done wonders with keeping the lady bugs and yellow jackets from getting in. New situation I have a newborn baby now in the house and would like to use the foggers again. Since the attic is sealed from rest of house could I fog the attic like usual without hurting the baby at all.

I sure wouldn't put the health of my baby in the hands of the keyboard experts .
you say the attic is sealed off from the house , if so why do you care about bugs being up there . ladybugs and even yellow jackets play an important role in the environment .
if they are coming into your living space the attic is not sealed as well as you think it is .
so my opinion is no . don't do it .

The ladybugs (lady beetles) we have play no role in the environment because they are not part of it. I find that if you go in the attic when it is really cold, you can find them in several big knots. You can spray them directly, or a chemical free option would be to vacuum them up and then set the vacuum outside in the cold so they can freeze to death.Be aware that if you use the vac, there will be a repulsive odor, and you will want to make sure and seal the ends so they cant get out while you come through the house. Either way, kill those nasty things, ladybug in diaper, ladybug flying into mouth, ladybug down sippy cup hole, ladybug mistaken for food, leads to lots of screaming.

Most attics are made so that air enters the attic and exits the attic due to hot air rising. Sometimes assisted by fans. So little likely hood of the fumes moving down.

If your in the house and not smelling the foggers in the attic then it seems to be less of a concern.

To be safe have the child elsewhere for a few hours or the day while the attic is being fumigated.

Yea I’d rather not have an attic full of yellow jackets. Yellow jackets and wasps don’t do much pollinating. It’s not 100 percent sealed but really close. I just have to work up there while rewriting the house I dont want pestered by yellow jackets. And a lot less cleanup couple times a summer to. Last year I fumigated and I didnt have any 2 inch think piles of flies, lady bugs and yellow jackets under the windows

Why take a chance? - just go on an outing for a few hours with the little one.

Are they really lady bugs, or are they those Asian lady beetles? Those things are a real pest. They bite, they stink and they swarm on walls staining them. They are very hard to kill. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harmonia_axyridis

As far as I know, these chemicals are not dangerous for anyone except for insects, which is obvious. However, your baby may have some allergic reactions which you are not aware of yet. SO, I suggest ordering professional pest control services like brightpestcontrol.com.au (if you're situated in Australia), mentioning to the guys you hire that you have a newborn, so all the chemicals they would use need to be safe! I'm really afraid and disgusted by all the insects, be they ladybugs or any other insects, I just can't stand being in the same place with insects, especially if it's my place. Every few months I order pest control to prevent any insects from appearing in my house and it works perfectly both for my little kids and me.

Fog away. It won't hurt the baby. You might choose a day when the baby has a doctor's appointment and set the bombs off just before leaving the house.

You are not going to buy any fogger over the counter that will hurt the baby. Anything you buy will be either pyrethrum of the synthetic version pyrethroid. They have a very low toxicity level to everything but flying insects. Within a few hours of fogging the chemical is gone and won't kill even flying insects. Fogging the attic will not get any of it downstairs unless you have some strange vent going into the attic.
