This month our household weekend doesn't officially begin until tomorrow night. Yay, 24/7 shift jobs Did get some melons planted today, and harvested just enough peppers and tomatillos to get a small batch of (not hot enough outside yet to get actually hot hot peppers) very mild chili verde made. Could have used some of your butchered hog in that, too!
Busy all day Friday and Sat. morning and then spent the afternoon watching coverage of the Preakness. Today I started off slow but then was busy in the afternoon and evening.
Wife is at her parents to help with her ailing father until Midweek so I am now in charge as the head cook and bottle washer.
My responsibilities as given to me where to keep the feed buckets full and the kitchen sink empty.
On the road Saturday to purchase and bring home another tractor. Long trip but worth it.
Spent Sunday morning in Church and the rest of the day piddling in the shop working on loose end projects.
Rained 3 days straight, but yesterday wasn't too bad.
Still too wet to mow, so I worked on an old .22 rifle that was having issues.
Works like new now.
