I am a total newb when it comes to goats, but I did do a lot of reading and talking to others that keep goats. The breeder has been very helpful. Gratefully so far, the problems have been minor. I am hoping that the older one is bred, there was bucks in the pen with the does when I picked them up. She is too rough with the bottle kids when she thinks I am not looking and maybe a kid of her own would be the cure or I think I may lose my temper and invite her to dinner. Other than that, she is a good goat so far.
The temperature drop here has me a little concerned. I am keeping an eye out for runny noses and such. Knock on wood, no problems yet.
To me she looks neither fat not pregnant. But if she is just in her first 2 or 3 months of pregnancy hard to make out by just seeing
