How large an entrance is needed for a pig

i purchased 3bred sows berkshire Breed and they are being delivered next week. I’m cutting a hole in the side of my barn so they can use the stall in there to shelter. How large should the hole be? I was told they are around 350 lbs each.

About 6"x6" suffices even for the larger pigs. If they can get their nose in they'll make the rest follow. You just think you're building pig-tough! :)

If you want doorways they don't create then measure their shoulders and add 2" wide and back and add 2" for something they won't trash too much. Build the door frame very strong because sometimes two will try to go through. And they will.

I would suggest having plenty of fresh air in any shelter. Don't close them in.
