Maybe in deep ca ca with Aron breaking his collar bone.

I told Kare if they hire Capernic I will remove the GB plate off the front of my truck.
I think they should give Arons back up a chance my self.

I would rather see Romo....'He's from about 20 miles from here.....LOL

Kaepernick wasn't playing all that well when he was set down/cut....then started the kneeling/protests .
I will not open that can of crap....only to say he can keep looking.
Ted will come up with something.....

But Romo has issues with not being able to with stand the hits. Last two seasons with Dallas he was out half the season.

Wonder if Tewbo can still play?

Lots of good GB's out hunting right now that don't have a job. Look what the Eagles did.

Tebow? You are kidding? He makes Kapernick look good. (not bringing politics in)

But without Rodgers GB has gone from Super Bowl Contenders back to the general population. Their best bet is try to get AJ MacCarron from Cincy.

GO LIONS!!!

GO LIONs!!!!!! You got to be kidding haven't won squat since 1956 and I am not sure the Fords owned the team then.

"According to legend, as he was leaving for Pittsburgh, Bobby said that Detroit "would not win for 50 years." Since this time, the Lions have not won another championship and have only a single playoff game win. The franchise's subsequent years of (mostly) futility has been labelled "The Curse of Bobby Layne." The Lions have only one playoff win since then, against the Dallas Cowboys in the 1991 season.

Minority owner Ralph Wilson split off from the team in 1959 to take an American Football League franchise; initially planning to place it in Miami, he instead placed it in Buffalo, New York, where it would become the Buffalo Bills. For the first three years of its existence, the AFL's Bills and NFL's Lions had identical blue and silver colors, possibly second-hand from old Lions equipment."

On November 22, 1963, William Clay Ford, Sr. purchased a controlling interest in the team for $4.5 million.[8] During Ford's ownership tenure which extended to his death in 2014, the Lions won just a single playoff game."

The Browns will probably go to a super bowl game before Detroit does, their just a tax write off for the Fords any way.

Brett Huntley didn't do too well on sunday....but actually still had a chance to tie with like 4 min. to go.
I will give him a chance .

BTW No one has a Huntley jersey.......Yet....LOL
Guys been on the team for 3 years...no one has asked for one.

If you recall the last time Aaron was out for a while...Matt Flynn stepped in a threw for 6 TD's (record) against the Lions....

Ya I remember as all the local sport casters were pounding their chest the lions would win with Rogers out. Fooled those fools me thinks.

I liked Matt Flynn, wish they would not have let him go.

We liked Matt Flynn as he was a championship winning quarterback of LSU...SIL and DD cheer for them in Louisiana.
LSU seem more popular that the Saints...

Anyway we watch him win it , then get drafted...so we were watching him....
Really enjoyed that game.
He then moved on with a big contract to the SeaHawks ....but they also brought in Russell Wilson (from Wisconsin)....
Played a bit more but didn't really catch on...
Lot of quarterbacks have come and gone in Green Bay....many going on to start for other teams, Backing up Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers doesn't alloy too much playing time in Green Bay.

I kinda like Taysom Hill in preseason

The Saints picked him up when he was put on waivers.....Too bad.

Just a note DD and DW and I are stockholders of the Green Bay Packers, so technically "team owners"......
So the Packers are considered the family business....And we vote "No" to Kaepernick.
BYW he suing the NFL......the teams are colluding against him....
The drama continues .....

Saw GB's coach on the news today and he became PO'd they would ask about Cap. Said they had money invested in Number 2 and 3 to back Aron up.
I think my Daughter is a stock holder too. She is in Eau Clair.

Where do the Lions fans get a roar, it is just a peep squeak MEOW kitty with no claws. Thank gawd I have yooper blood in me.

Well I thought Brett Huntly did a very good job againest the saints. You could see how ever they (coaches) were not wanting hime to do much passing. Really believe they could have had the W if not sat on the lead so long.

Well the 3 time losers lions play tomorrow againest GB. Hope the coaches at GB feel Huntley is ready for a real role in the game and not keep the leash so short.

Haven't seen the local sports all week here to see how the odds makers have it stacked.

Well the part of the game I was able to see I still think the leash was short. Also think Huntly wanted to run with the ball more than he should have with all the good recievers on the team.

Well the lions had to win one or the stands would start looking like Clevelands.

Seems they took thre leash off Huntly. Not able to watch the game here. Stuck with lions playing Cleveland if I wanted to watch Foot ball.

Watched a good movie instead.

That's true......many Green Bay backup QB have gone on to be starters elsewhere.
The Pack has had 2 starters from 1992 to date....plus back ups.

Draft them train them, if not needed....start over.

Pretty hard to break into the line up with Rodgers....and Favre before that....Lots of years.

Bear was playing their rooky QB as well....so looks like both got some real game time.

In my opinion....
There are two kind of of quarterbacks.....One Plays quarterback.....one IS a quarterback.....

Joe Callahan is next up....played OK in preseason....
But they cut Taysom Hill that I thought did a better job and was more exciting to watch......

New Orleans thought so as well....picked Hill up immediately.
I think Ted was hoping he could hide him on the practice/taxi squad......
