What is everyone up to today? I just spent four hours pulling tansy at the neighbors and now I'm taking a break while the youngest naps. Will be going back over later to do a couple more hours of work

well today I finished weeding my garlic bed and also harvested some camomile flower. watered the flowers and herbs at the end of the driveway, sprayed soapy water on aphids on my peppermint, visited with my parents a bit, made a pizza for dinner on the smoker grill.....now I'm soaking my feet in hot water, epsom salt, fresh basil and camomile. ahhhhh

Why were you pulling tansy? invasive? I just learned of the plant to be honest, not sure if it grows around here but can be medicinal? still learning myself..

I've been enjoying a relaxing weekend. Got the Shedroom air conditioned over the weekend, did some housekeeping in it, making it look like it's inhabited. Staying out of this obnoxious heat. Tending to little one, who just got a round of shots on Friday and who is a tad bit cranky.

Just cooked up some carne asada soft tacos for dinner. Bell peppers, onions, the works.

Unfortunately, I will be headed back to town for the week very shortly... I despise town.

Every day feels busy to me, but in a good way I guess, I am lucky to have the opportunity to be home for the summer and focusing completely on the property. So many projects and ideas to work on!
I had no idea about the tansy being poisonous to cows. Would the cows still eat it even if it were poisonous? Just wondering if they had an internal compass to steer them away from poisonous things. I guess maybe not if you're pulling it.
I have heard it is invasive. For some areas of my land I would welcome the flowers as opposed to baby white pine which also seems kind of invasive (haha)
