Hi, we just received an old Montgomery Ward table top manual crank separator. We're not sure how to work it, and a thread from 2010 indicated you might have a manual, or know where to get one? Thank you in advance for any help you might be able to offer. Jeanne

Esty was reserved as of today. Sorry! I can get you a picture of Bea and Venus, though.

I hate to bother you right after Christmas. But did you find your picture of the folding milk stand? Both of the new girls are bred, but we do not have a set due date. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and have a Blessed New Year.

No, I stuck with only the stainless steel separators, no tin jobs.

So, you restored separators? I'm interested in that. I've looked at sandblasters, they aren't actually too expensive. Did you do anything about worn out chrome/tin?

I was looking at the website, when I finally realized you weren't Bliss Berry, lol! That's out of Kastdemur, although way back for your kid. I wonder who the buck is? Although that's too much money at this point, I'll keep you in mind for when we want to improve our herd and begone with the 3/4 gal girls! Not to mention our LaManchas have low butterfat, but that's actually why we like their milk, just not when it's time to run it through the De Laval.
      Thanks, HF

Yes, I do :) I have 2 left to sell this year.

This is a link to the dam of one, http://www.blissberry.com/romance.html She was #7 in butterfat production, #110 in production and #9 in protein production in 2007. Her kid is $450

This is the grand dam of the other kid (I don't have a pic of the dam or a web site...)
http://www.blissberry.com/robin.html She was #1 in butterfat, #3 in production and #2 in protein production in 2007 Her kid is also $450.

Thank you so much for the inquiry!!!
      P.S. I made butter and I'm totally hooked :)
